Embryologist Adding Sperm to Egg

IVF SUPPORT

Understanding the Importance of Timing:

Timing is critical in fertility treatment. The process of egg maturation begins 90 days before ovulation, underscoring the necessity of preparing your body well in advance of assisted reproductive therapy. Our approach involves implementing dietary, lifestyle, and exercise adjustments to establish a foundation for optimal fertility health.

Customized Acupuncture Treatment:

Our acupuncture treatments are personalized to address your unique circumstances. Whether you're preparing for IVF, undergoing the procedure, or seeking support during any phase of the cycle, our experienced practitioners will tailor the treatment plan to suit your individual needs.

IVF Support Protocols:

1. Acupuncture Before and During IVF Medication Phase:

  • Based on clinical trial protocols, these treatments aim to enhance blood supply to the uterus and ovaries, promoting hormonal regulation crucial for follicle development and implantation.

  • Schedule: 2 treatments per week for 4 weeks, with an additional treatment at the time of embryo transfer.

2. Acupuncture on the Day of Embryo Transfer:

  • Clinical trials have shown increased pregnancy rates, particularly for individuals with lower expected success rates.

  • Schedule: One treatment before or after transfer, or two treatments both before and after transfer, aimed at promoting relaxation and improving success rates.

3. Acupuncture at Any Phase of the IVF Cycle:

  • Helps manage side effects and anxiety, reducing fatigue, moodiness, and discomfort.

  • Schedule: 1-2 treatments per week as needed, tailored to individual symptoms.

4. Acupuncture After Egg Collection:

  • Recommended to reduce tissue trauma or bleeding and create an optimal environment for embryo implantation.

  • Schedule: 1 treatment immediately after the procedure or within the following 2 days.

5. Acupuncture for Frozen Embryo Transfer:

  • Designed to enhance blood flow to the uterus and improve implantation rates.

  • Schedule: 2 treatments per week for 2-4 weeks before transfer, with an additional treatment on the day of transfer.

6. Preparing for Labor:

  • Acupuncture in the weeks leading up to delivery can reduce medical intervention rates and facilitate a smoother labor process.

  • Schedule: 1 treatment per week starting from week 36 of pregnancy.
