Cupping (Myofascial Decompression) THERAPY

Cupping Therapy is one of the oldest methods of traditional Chinese medicine. The earliest recorded use of cupping dates to the early fourth century, when the noted herbalist Ge Hong wrote about a form of cupping in A Handbook of Prescriptions. Cupping Therapy is used specifically to decompress adhesions and scar tissue, relax muscles in spasm, decrease trigger point pain, and decrease tissue changes and inflammation following trauma. Cumulative treatments increase muscle endurance, circulation, increase lymphatic drainage and enhance the overall ability to recover from workouts and strenuous activity.

TUI-NA THERAPY

In ancient China, medical therapy was often classified as either "external" or "internal" treatment. Tui na was one of the external methods, thought to be especially suitable for use on the elderly population and on infants. In modern China, many hospitals include tui na as a standard aspect of treatment, with specialization for infants, adults, orthopedics, traumatology, cosmetology, rehabilitation, and sports medicine.

''Experience Ultimate Relaxation and Pain Relief with Fire Cupping & Tui-Na Therapy at Yoon Clinic''

Yoon Clinic offers a unique combination therapy of fire cupping and tui-na that focuses on the whole back. This powerful healing experience combines the benefits of fire cupping and tui-na therapy in one session. During the session, our highly trained practitioners use high-quality glass cups and heat to create a vacuum that pulls the skin and underlying tissues into the cup. This therapy can help relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and promote overall wellness by increasing blood flow and reducing tension in the muscles and joints.

The session then finishes off with tui-na therapy, which involves deep tissue massage, acupressure, and stretching techniques to further release any remaining tension and promote relaxation. By targeting the whole back, this combination therapy can provide relief from a wide range of conditions, such as back pain, shoulder pain, and neck pain.

At Yoon Clinic, we take an integrative approach to healthcare, and our practitioners work closely with each patient to develop a customized treatment plan that addresses their unique health concerns. With our focus on treating the whole person, not just the symptoms of a particular condition, we strive to promote overall wellness and balance in the body.
